Expose yourself! With more than 10 million international readers each month, Savvy is the place to be seen. As a well-established online community, Savvy Nation gives you the opportunity to make contacts in the industry and source new talent.

The Editors’ Choice Awards – Step up for the title. Yes, this year is the best yet for Savvy users, with the chance for the ladies to win a million dollars (yes, a million dollars), and a chance for photographers to gain unparalleled exposure. If your interest is officially piqued, then read on for your chance to win a little something for that trophy cabinet of yours...

Launched in conjunction with Savvy’s Search for the Million Dollar Woman, the Editors’ Choice Awards is one you’d be a fool to miss. Throughout 2008, semi-finalists will be selected each month by Savvy and will have a feature interview and showcase displayed on Savvy.com. Their work will be judged on artistic and technical merit by the well-seasoned Savvy team. The winner will be flown to Sydney, Australia to collaborate with photographers for the grand finale in early 2009.

Get involved!

1. Join the Savvy Nation - A Savvy Nation profile gives you the ability not only to showcase your work but also to link any or all of your photography profiles like One Model Place, Ujena Talent and its Ujena Jam Talent Search Week, Solo Models etc back to your Savvy Nation profile. So it’s pretty much a free gallery with added bonuses!

2. Expose yourself - Each month, Savvy’s team will select images we consider to be exceptional. Savvy.com reaches tens of millions of people each year – the contest will attract hundreds of thousands of contestants and literally hundreds of millions of voters and fans.

3. Network, network, network - Savvy.com is a well-established online community with over a million active members, giving you the opportunity to make contacts in the industry and source new talent.

4. And, of course, the prize - be flown to Sydney, Australia to collaborate with photographers for the grand finale of Savvy’s Search for the Million Dollar Woman in early 2009.

But wait, there’s more…

In 2008, Savvy.com is launching new mobile technology that will take your portfolio on the go, allowing you to quickly upload images, text information and more. Quick linking will allow you send on key elements from your mobile portfolio to clients. Images will be copyright and technology protected.

This isn’t just a photo contest; it’s also a tool for Savvy to scout photographers to join the Savvy family. Even if a photographer doesn’t make it to Sydney, he or she might just get a shot being a Savvy snapper elsewhere – the possibilities are limitless!

You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers…

What’s the cost? What’s the catch? There is no cost or catch. Savvy is a free online lifestyle publication and social network community. We DON’T spam you or sell your e-mail addresses to third parties. We want everyone who visits Savvy to enjoy their experience.

What kind of photos can I enter in The Savvy Editors’ Choice Awards? Savvy is a ‘safe-for-work’ website. While implied nudity is acceptable, any images showing the model’s exposed nipples or groin area will be declined by the contest administrator.

Can I layer the photos I submit with my logo or web site URL? We prefer no text on submitted contest photos for Search for the Million Dollar Woman, but if you must identify the image as yours, please use something along the lines of “© Lilly’s Photo” rather than www.lillysphoto.com , a logo or any other graphic element that will distract from the girl and the image’s quality.

How can I use my Savvy Nation profile to network? Just send any of your friends or potential clients your personal URL link to your Savvy profile. Once someone clicks on your personal Savvy link, they can view your profile and public contact information, but to browse through your profile pictures they will have to be a member of our Savvy community. Remember you can not only showcase your work but also link any or all of your photography profiles.

How can people contact me? People can contact you directly in several ways on Savvy’s internal messaging and email system. You will also receive notification to the email address that you used to join Savvy. Savvy will also be introducing a new free web email system for external emails.

So Savvy actually allows photographers to link to other sites?

From early 2008, you will be able to link any or all of your photographer profiles on other sites and communities to your Savvy profile -- your own professional website, OMP, Model Mayhem, Solomodels, etc. This will allow you to maximise your exposure on the web.

Where can I get more information? For more information see terms and conditions to be posted upon the launch of competition in 2008.
