Tiffany Lang doesn’t hold celebrities in awe the way most people would upon seeing them out in public. That’s because she’s rubbed shoulders with so many famous names and done just about every type of modeling job that L.A. has to offer a beautiful, sexy blonde -- except for porn.
Tiffany has shared the screen with the likes of Adam Sandler, Christopher Walken, Ashton Kutcher, Bernie Mac, Method Man, and Justin Timberlake. She’s been on NBC’s Las Vegas, HBO’s Entourage, MTV’s The Osbournes and Soulmates, plus E! Television’s The Soup and The Girls Next Door.
In fact, Tiffany models occasionally for Playboy and introduced Hugh Hefner to girlfriend Kendra. Tiffany has also been a familiar face on SpikeTV, appearing on Joe Schmo 2, The John Henson Project, Best Damn Sports Show, and the upcoming MANswers and Raising the Roofs.
All of this barely scratches the surface of her resume and she’s only 25! Tiffany’s also loaned her likeness to promote AXE, Budweiser, Sony Pictures, Benchwarmer Trading Cards, Trashy Lingerie, Hampton Inn Suites, Dunlop Tires, Activision, and about a dozen other companies.
Savvy: Would you say you are best known for Playboy?
Tiffany: I’ve modeled for Playboy, but I’ve never been a Playmate. I actually prefer it that way. I make more money the other way. I could if I wanted to, but you’re forever branded as Miss March or whatever. I’ve been in College Girls and the Book of Lingerie special editions.
Savvy: Do you get to party at the mansion often?
Tiffany: Oh yeah. Hef is really sweet and everyone there is like family.
Savvy: Have you always been comfortable showing your body off?
Tiffany: I have always been comfortable with my body. I don’t know why. America’s so uptight about things like that.
Savvy: So your parents said, “Go take your clothes off in a magazine!”?
Tiffany: (Laughs) At first, my parents didn’t really approve of me doing the Playboy work, but they love me for me, so they accepted it.
Savvy: Do people assume that you are more sexual than the typical girl because you’ve posed so sexy so often?
Tiffany: They’ll never know. Ha Ha. (Laughs) Actually, I get a lot of commercial jobs because I have the sweet girl next door look.
Savvy: You spend a lot of time in lingerie. When it is just you at home, do you wear it?
Tiffany: (Laughs) I wear sweat pants at home. (Laughs) I was talking about this with a girlfriend the other day. When you model lingerie so much, you associate it with work.
Savvy: Yeah, we get so tired of looking at hot women wearing... Hey, wait... What the hell are we saying? (Laughs) How did you get into this business and how did your list of credits get so long?
Tiffany: I started modeling when I was 16. Winning miss photogenic in the Miss San Diego pageant is how I started my portfolio. I’m just a workaholic.
Savvy: What advice would you give models that are starting out?
Tiffany: Show up to jobs on time. Practice posing front of a mirror. The more you shoot, the better you get, so do time-for-print shoots to get experience. It helps if the photographer props up a mirror so you can pose on set -- you can see what you’re doing wrong and fix it. Also, never pay for anything. There are a lot of scams targeting young girls. Don’t do anything you aren’t comfortable with or hate because it will show in the pictures.
Savvy: Is there any job you regret doing?
Tiffany: My favorite saying is “You’ll always regret what you didn’t do more than what you did...”
Savvy: Are you striving to get an Academy Award eventually?
Tiffany: (Laughs) I usually get cast for parts like “big-chested blonde”. That’s fine. I’ve never taken acting classes. It’s cool to see yourself on TV.
Savvy: You were on Comedy Central’s The Man Show?
Tiffany: I played the sexy censor. I would interrupt the hosts when they were doing crude things. I would say “You can’t show lingerie!” and then rip open my business suit and say “Like this!” (Laughs) Extremely gratuitous. (Laughs)
Savvy: And funny. You have a show coming up on Spike TV?
Tiffany: Yes, called MANswers. You’re asked questions and the correct answer is what the majority of men would say. I host it and do a lot of improv. I like hosting a lot more than memorizing scripts. I like being able to do off-the-cuff improv.
Savvy: It’s good to see Spike TV actually showing something other than Star Trek re-runs if they are claiming to be TV for men.
Tiffany: (Laughs) They are doing a bunch of shows.
Savvy: Is there a director who getting to work with would be worth memorizing lines?
Tiffany: Quentin Tarantino! I love his movies. They’re awesome. I did a promo for Kill Bill 2 at the Playboy mansion party for it. I was body painted as Uma Thurman’s character.
Savvy: Body painting. That seems to be a big deal now.
Tiffany: It takes a long time. They put on the base coat and airbrush through fabrics to get the effect. They add shadows.
Savvy: So there isn’t some dude getting to tickle your privates with a paint brush? Cause if there is, where can I apply for that job?
Tiffany: (Laughs) No, no, no. None of that.
Savvy: What’s the sexiest job you’ve ever done?
Tiffany: I’d say my pictures in FHM, more so than what I’ve had in Playboy. I liked how I looked in the pictures way better.
Savvy: And what do you think is sexy?
Tiffany: Lingerie. Massages. Stuff like that.
Savvy: What’s the most romantic thing a guy has ever done for you?
Tiffany: (Laughs) I don’t date romantic guys. I am going through that phase where I like the bad boys. Actually, I don’t get hit on... ever!
Savvy: I don’t believe that. What do you do for fun?
Tiffany: I go shopping with friends or go out to clubs. I enjoy hanging out at the beach or people-watching. It’s fun watching the drunken celebrities stagger around. It’s like E! Television except it is happening right in front of you.
Savvy: Any celebs who you were excited to meet?
Tiffany: (Laughs) Not really. (Laughs) I’m so jaded. I met Leonardo DiCaprio when I was 12. (Laughs)
Savvy: What kind of guy hooks up with you?
Tiffany: Smart. Funny. He doesn’t take life too seriously because life is dramatic enough.
Savvy: You eager to settle down and start making babies?
Tiffany: (Laughs) No. I need to know myself before you can be with someone else. I’m only 23 so that will be at least 5 years from now. I don’t think that far ahead. I’ve always been in school, so I’ve never gone full-force with the acting or modeling so I don’t consider it a career. I finished my undergraduate degree. Not sure exactly what I want to do. Right now, I’m just working.
Savvy: Any tips for men to be better lovers?
Tiffany: Do your research. Don’t just copy from porn. Ask your woman what she’s into.
Savvy: Do you have to be in love to enjoy sex with someone?
Tiffany: Not necessarily, but you should have a lot in common so you connect on every other level. Of course, being in love is the best sex. If you’re into the other person, there’s a connection. It also helps if the guy knows what he’s doing in bed.
Savvy: What would you do if you woke up tomorrow and hot girls were mysteriously considered ugly?
Tiffany: Like that episode of Twilight Zone? (Laughs) I would go back to school.
Savvy: Tell us about your Savvy photo shoot with Barry Smith?
Tiffany: The makeup artist was awesome, and I was comfortable with Barry because I’d shot with him before. We got a lot of stuff done quickly. The bedroom and bath were gorgeous. We used a lot of deep greens and reds, sensual golds.
Savvy: Well, the results are really sexy. Good luck in everything you do.
Tiffany: Thanks for having me in Savvy. I hope everyone loves the shots.
