If you see Natalia and she agrees to a date, just bear in mind that three isn’t a crowd in her book.

“When I go on a first date, I try to bring my dog with me, If my dog likes him, I like him. If she doesn’t…it was nice meeting you,” she said in an Australian accent that nearly masks her native Russian.

“It’s a sausage dog, a little daschund named Meela,” she said. Natalia may have just figured out a way to sort out the lovers from the players. After all, it takes a dog to know one.

The 23-year-old model got started in the posing game at age 17, but then took a few years off to pursue other interests.

“I started modeling at 17, mostly for fun. I enjoyed getting my makeup done, getting all dolled up and having people fuss around me. And now after such a long break, I still find the whole process very exiting, especially working with Marvin, such a talented photographer and this whole team of really fun friendly people.”

Natalia is one good-humored, gorgeous lady who likes to enjoy life. For her, everyday experiences are the grand adventure…

Savvy: How does a nice girl from Siberia end up in Australia?

Natalia: My parents decided to move. It took us a while to decide to leave our home and our relatives and basically everything we knew and move to a new and relatively unknown world. It was quite a journey. We learned English in Russia, but it was the American style of English. The tone and accent here in Sydney makes it very difficult for people who can’t speak it fluently to understand. It was a challenge for the first couple of months, but with time you get used to it.

Savvy: Did your parents want to escape the bitter Siberian cold?

Natalia: It does get very, very cold in winter, and you need a lot of warm clothes to avoid becoming an icicle, but surprisingly, the summer times are quite warm and pleasant. It’s a nice place and a good experience. I would like to go back and visit in the near future. A lot of my family is still back there.

Savvy: So it was a difficult adjustment, eh?

Natalia: I do admire my parents for having the guts to leave everything behind and move to a place of which they knew nothing about. It was a huge change to our environment and a bit of a culture shock. It took a while for us to adjust and blend in. Luckily, the people we encountered were very friendly and there was so much support out there for us.

Savvy: We recently relocated our corporate offices to Sydney. What do you like about the city?

Natalia: It’s a beautiful city. You can go anywhere, and its so easy to meet people, everyone is so friendly. I’ve also been to the Gold Coast and to Melbourne for Formula 1, each place so unique and special. Some of my best memories were from those trips. Now talking about it, I realize just how much I need a holiday.

Savvy: You need an adventure!

Natalia: I’d really love to go on a long road trip around the country with a couple of girlfriends and stop in all the little towns. It’ll be fun. For now, however, the adventure is on this weekend, I’m taking Candace out. We’re gonna paint this town red!!!!

Savvy: Oh boy. That will be fun. Be sure to take some pictures.

Natalia: (Laughs) Yeah, she’s amazing.

Savvy: Are you the spontaneous type or do you like to plan where you’ll go and what stops you’ll make?

Natalia: I am very spontaneous. Whenever I tried to plan something, it just didn’t work, so I gave up. Now I just go with the flow and see where it takes me.

Savvy: You seem fairly laid back. Are you a homebody?

Natalia: I like to be out and about. I am very social, in saying that, I don’t want to offend my TV -- I do love chilling out at home in front of it.

Savvy: We know you said that you don’t like to plan, so what do you see yourself doing in the future?

Natalia: I may go to college, first I have to figure out what is it I want to study. No rush.

Savvy: Tell us about your Savvy photo shoot.

Natalia: It was so much fun. Everyone around me was so professional and knew exactly what they were doing. Marvin was awesome. After I saw the pictures, I was like, “wow!” And the makeup artist Rhonda, she made me look good, which I am very grateful for. Our stylist, Bianca, put my whole look together. It was quite a big production, three locations, lots of people. Candace from Savvy put it all together and somehow made it work. It was an absolute pleasure working with such professionals. It was a great, great, great day. I really did not want it to end.

Savvy: in the photos, you exchange glances with an admirer.

Natalia: This guy sees me buying groceries and likes me. I realize he’s watching me, so I start to pose for him and flirt. (The model portraying the guy) was hilarious. Every time I turned around, he would do something crazy. He and Marvin put on accents and I couldn’t keep a straight face.

Savvy: (Laughs) Tell us this: If a guy falls in love at first sight and has to make a good first impression because he may never see you again, what’s the key to getting his foot in your door, so to speak?

Natalia: I think it’s pretty obvious: all you have to do is be yourself. A girl appreciates honesty. One thing I love, though, are cheesy pickup lines because I get to tell my girlfriends and we laugh about it for days.

Savvy: What kind of man DO you go for?

Natalia: I don’t really go for looks because that doesn’t last, and there are more important things than looks. I like funny, open-minded, chilled out guys who enjoy life and want to have fun.

Savvy: How do you have fun?

Natalia: I love dancing. I do like going out now and then, not all of the time. You need to sort of get rid of all of your frustrations from the week. Sometimes I’d go to a quiet bar and have a cocktail. Sometimes I NEED to go dancing all night, and now that the summer is coming, that’s when the real parties start!!!

Savvy: What do you drink when you go clubbing?

Natalia: I used to just have wine or champagne, but my girlfriend introduced me to the Amaretto Sour. I didn’t know they existed. Beautiful!

Savvy: Yeah, those are good. What clues do women give men that they want to be approached in a club or bar?

Natalia: It’s all in the look, how she is looking at you. You know she’s interested if she’s smiling. Then you can just come up to her and say “Hey there, sexy, come here often…?”

Savvy: Is beauty ever a curse? Like when people stare at you in public just a little too long?

Natalia: Yeah, everybody has those days. I don’t think anything is a curse. You should just be happy with what you’ve been given.

Savvy: How do you stay fit?

Natalia: I used to be a professional gymnast. That was a lot of work. Now I go for jogs or make myself go to the gym.

Savvy: And how does it feel to be an international sex symbol with these photos coming out?

Natalia: Well, you could be called worst things than that.

Savvy: Is there a model you’ve looked up to?

Natalia: I adore Naomi Campbell. I know she’s got a bit of a temper, but she’s stunning. I always thought she was one of the best.

Savvy: Any parting thoughts?
