Joanna: I would say… a special connection and attraction to the opposite sex. Size does matter, but if that attraction is not there, then sex is just sex.

Savvy: Still sounds fun. Are you a fan of daylight or moonlight romps?

Joanna: With my man, I love it at any time of the day or night.

Savvy: Do supermodels have a rule about how much romancing a guy must do before he gets to experience super-sex? Does he need to send a particular quantity of roses or spend a certain amount on dinners…?

Joanna: Definitely no rules. If an attraction is so strong, it makes it hard to follow some rules.

Savvy: Help me out with a visual here… You’re naked… in bed…

Joanna: I love to be on top cause I know it makes my man happy, but I also love it when he’s on top.

Savvy: (Mouth open, speechless)

Joanna: (Smiling) I also like to sleep naked.

Savvy: You are the hottest supermodel ever! Celebrities live their lives in the public eye. Have you ever gotten frisky in public?

Joanna: If a lifeguard’s booth is public enough then my answer is yes... and no, we didn’t get caught because it was at night on the beach in Cabo.

Savvy: Oh yeah, I remember now. (Laughs) Just kidding. Have you ever had a threesome?

Joanna: NEVER! And I have no interest!

Savvy: Wow. You feel pretty strongly about that.

Joanna: If my man isn’t enough for me, there’s a problem.

Savvy: So you would get jealous if a boyfriend looked at another woman? I mean, as if he would find anyone hotter than you!

Joanna: I am not a jealous person at all. Jealous people are a huge turnoff.

Savvy: Tell me about it! My girlfriend kills the mood when she tells me I can’t have sex with other women.

Joanna: If a man even thinks of having an affair with another woman, to me that is cheating. If a man is with me, I don’t want him fantasizing about other women or kissing them.

Savvy: Would you ever forgive a guy if he admitted to having an affair but felt guilty about it and just wanted to be honest? What if he was drunk when it

happened? What if you were taking a break from being together and you found

out he’d had sex with another woman? 

Joanna: It depends on the situation, but I probably wouldn’t be able to forgive him because I believe that if it happened once then it can easily happen again. I can't imagine cheating on someone that I am in love with, and if someone cheats, it is obvious that they are no longer in love with that person, so why try to forgive? It is better to just move on and find someone that you can trust.

Joanna: Well, I got lucky with my boyfriend since he hates strip clubs. (Laughs) But if he decided to go, I wouldn’t be angry with him because I trust him and know that it would be just for fun.

Savvy: Well, yeah.

Joanna: I would probably end up going with him since I know he would feel more comfortable with me.

Savvy: I definitely feel less awkward stuffing money into a strange woman’s thong when my girlfriend is there beside me loaning me dollar bills. Just kidding. The owner of the strip club would probably ask you to leave because all the men would just stare at you with your clothes on!

Joanna: Sometimes I wish I were a man so I could finally know how your brains work and learn to read your thoughts…

Savvy: It would be like looking in the mirror because we can’t stop thinking about you… (Grins) Okay, enough gratuitous flattery! Tell me this: Is there a lot of sex in the higher echelons of the modeling industry? Or is it just all illusion?

Joanna: There were a few different times where I heard that a guy has told people that he slept with me. I didn’t do anything about it because I didn’t want to waste my breath on a loser that has to lie to feel better about himself…

Savvy: Right! I wouldn’t dare brag to my friends if you suddenly threw me to the floor. That is, hypothetically. Here’s another hypothetical. I’m not saying he ever would in real life, but if Robert Redford turned into his character from “Indecent Proposal” and offered you a pile of money to sleep with him and you weren’t in a relationship -- or you were and your boyfriend said “go for it” -- how big would that pile of money have to be?

Joanna: I would say “Hell no!” and tell him that he can offer that to someone his own age...

Savvy: Ouch! Speaking of movies, your new project is the feature film “Falling Up”.

Joanna: Right. It is directed by Philippe Calland, who made “Hollywood Buddha”. He’s well known as the creator of “Boxing Helena”.

Savvy: Oh yeah, the one where Sherilyn Fenn gets her arms and legs cut off by that guy obsessed with her.

Joanna: Right. Julian Sands was the actor.

Savvy: Pretty mean thing to do. I understand you work against people who are mean to animals, right?

Joanna: Yes, I am an animal activist.

Savvy: That’s great. You have a cool Web site too.

Joanna: Thanks. I will have a line of products coming out soon. I have special beauty tips, designer clothes, cosmetics and jewelry.

Savvy: Your career is as red-hot as your look. How important is it for you to eventually be married and have a family?

Joanna: I would love to be married within the next two years, but as far as kids go, I would like to have kids in about four years since I’m planning on working for awhile with my modeling and acting.

Savvy: Do you believe in men and women being “friends -- with benefits”?

Joanna: I usually don’t become or stay friends with someone that I’m attracted to. It would be too hard to be friends with someone that you want to date.
