This week, Savvy presents Jennifer Walcott, an Ohio girl who followed her dreams and became material for the dreams of so many others.

How can we accurately describe her?

First, there is the obvious. A body so firm and round and squeezably perfect that it seems too amazing to exist outside of a fantasy. Each curve tells the story of a girl who cares greatly about her body and loves the freedom to explore it, realizing her full sexual self. For her lover, sex is more like an expedition to some wondrous playground. He finds her at every stop along the way, ready to laugh and enjoy the moment. He'd better watch out. A boy could fall totally in love with a girl like this...

If you are as much of a fan of beautiful women as we are, you've undoubtedly seen Jennifer in her capacity as Playboy's Miss August 2001. She fits the magazine perfectly. She IS the girl next door, the one who is normal but has an adorably freaky side.

Despite all she has witnessed in the Playboy circle (things that might seem a little wild outside of L.A.), there's amazingly still plenty of sweetness left over. And not a pretending sort of sweetness either -- a sense of innocence and an eagerness to learn all of life's wisdoms. She's the kind of girl who remembers your birthday.

The body is what made her famous, but fans remain captivated by the beauty of her face, the sweetness in her smile and a voice that sounds like a cross between a little girl and the raspy self-assurance of the hottest girl you've ever spoken to. Some of the women who pose in Playboy are on the "male radar" for a few months and then mostly disappear into the background noise. But others strike a chord with charisma that appeals to both men and women. Some become personalities that stay with us like ex-girlfriends we always want to remember. They turn the ordinary-woman-posing-nude thing into professional modeling careers. Jennifer is one of those women.

To her credit, the 28-year-old model and actress has milked her association with Playboy for all it is worth, but Jennifer's success is not limited to taking off her clothes or she would be long forgotten by most by now. She's making movies and appearing on channels such as VH1. She is featured in Planet Muscle as one of the "hardest" bodies of 2005 and is on the cover of Muscle Mag. She is "Lady Luck" for Lucky Jay's Custom Choppers. Lucky Jay saw her in 2005 and thought she was like an old school pin-up. He wanted her to represent his hard work designing and building custom cars, trucks and hot rods since 1996.

In "American Pie 4: Band Camp," the latest installation of the franchise, Jennifer is one of two former Playmates who portray sexy band camp counselors, the other being actress/model Angela Little. Jennifer's "Laurie" serves as lust material for Stifler's little brother. He attempts to wire the camp with hidden cameras to turn it into the set for his own "Girls Gone Wild"-type video but falls for a fellow camp-goer.

"I wasn't right for this big part, which went to Angela Little, so they created a new part for me in the story," Jennifer said. "It's really sexy and fun. There's shower parts and all that, a lot more nudity and sexual innuendo. I get with some of the bandmates and talk about it with the other camp counselors. It's an all-new cast. I worked very closely with Angela. We got a lot of reaction on the set. The guys are really young so it is excited for them. Playmates are pretty recognizeable so they were excited to be working with us."

Savvy is exciting to be interviewing Jennifer...

Savvy: I know you are acting and doing a lot of other modeling, including fitness and swimwear modeling, but I have to ask what's it been like being a Playmate?

Jennifer: Playboy has been great to me. They are some of my best friends and a big part of my life. I'm originally from Ohio, and I don't have any family in L.A., so Hugh Hefner and the mansion are like a family to me.

Savvy: Well, instead of a Christmas card, maybe you can get me in there for a few minutes? Just kidding. But actually I'm not. It must be pretty awesome to be part of such an American icon.

Jennifer: It's a big honor because there's 12 girls a year, and I'm one of those 12. Playboy found me and pretty much everything I've done has been through them. The success of Playboy continues and their traditions. I want to represent women in a positive way just as Playboy has been doing for more than 50 years. It is amazing to be a part of something that has involved people like Cindy Crawford, Marilyn Monroe, Jenny McCarthy, Pam Anderson and Carmen Electra. The Playboy Mansion is a good place to go if I am upset or happy or just want to eat some dinner, watch a movie and basically shoot the shit. At the Mid-Summer's Night Dream Party 2000, I went to the mansion for the very first time. That will always be an amazing memory in my life. I didn't want that night to ever end!

Savvy: Is it all glamour and fun or is there a crappy side to any of it?

Jennifer: It's sometimes a Catch-22. You're always busy with promotions. If you get opportunities to do something, then you don't get the call-backs or miss out on something else. You can't work and go on auditions all day too. You have to be a starving actress to be able to audition all the time.

Savvy: True. And so many of them are. But you are so fit! How do you get so... perfect?!

Jennifer: I try to find a happy medium between being a Playmate and a fitness model. I just did the cover of Iron Man, Oxygen and RX Muscle Fitness. I've also appeared in international editions of Maxim and FHM magazines. It isn't certain yet, but I may also be on the cover of the 2006 Playboy Swimsuit Calendar. I heard this year's calendar is outselling Sports Illustrated's swimsuit calendar. It's interesting that Sports Illustrated is using big-name professional athletes to model swimwear while on the other side of the business, the Playmates are going more mainstream by modeling swimwear. It means a lot to me that we're not just considered nude models. Kids can buy the swimsuit calendar and hang it on their walls without their moms being upset about it.

Savvy: Cool. That means an entirely new generation of fans. Are there any perks to celebrity you want to share with the envious?

Jennifer: I was awarded a key to the city of Las Vegas.

Savvy: Thousands of men would love to help you turn that key and light up the casinos. What kind of guy do you go for?

Jennifer: My boyfriend is a guy's guy. He plays football, can fix cars and protects me. He's very sure of himself and has confidence. He drinks beer with his friends. A rugged guy. I also like a guy who is in touch with his feminine side.

Savvy: I'm somehow mysteriously crushed that you have a boyfriend. As if you wouldn't... (Laughs)

Jennifer: It's hard to find a decent guy in L.A. or anywhere. People travel so much now. It used to be that you only left the city for family vacations, but now flying is like getting into your car. As a Playmate, there are endless airports, jet lag, traveling to the east coast only to turn around and fly back to the west coast in a single day.

Savvy: So what's your philosophy on dating then?

Jennifer: I am the type that, if I would buy a used car, I would look under the hood to make sure it is on the up and up. In dating, I'm going to drive that car around the block, do some research, check things out before I get wholeheartedly involved again. I'm not about wasting time anymore. I don't have the time or energy to waste on a relationship that isn't going to go anywhere and isn't a good time. It has to be something special and not just a one-night stand.

Savvy: I hate to be rude, but I imagine it must be a huge turn-on knowing that so many people look at your photos and just become intoxicated looking you. Is that about right?

Jennifer: I never thought about people being aroused looking at my photos until someone brought that to my attention. It makes me feel good if that's how people can find enjoyment. I think sex is fun and exciting.

Savvy: How would you describe your look?

Jennifer: I'm able to look younger than I am and people think I am exotic looking. I'm Italian, Irish and Polish. People always think it is something extra special. I think I can pull off looking like the girl next door but maybe sexier at times.

Savvy: Definitely sexy all the time. What the sexiest or wildest thing you've ever experienced?

Jennifer: It's usually such a wild time that I don't remember. (Laughs) It's not that wild to me anymore, but I'm sure that some of the people reading this would think so, things like five or six girls making out in the Grotto.

Savvy: Like I said, an invitation will do in place of that Christmas card. (Laughs)

Jennifer: To me, that's, like, everyday stuff. It doesn't phase me anymore, but I guess to the average person it is wild.

Savvy: Have you ever been with another girl?

Jennifer: Well, I've done a shoot with another Playmate nude, but I've just kissed another girl. That's about it. (Laughs) I'm pretty happy with guys.

Savvy: Was your first time good or horrible?

Jennifer: I was in my teens. It was my high school sweetheart, so it was definitely good, memorable.

Savvy: Where were you when I was in high school? Kindergarten? (Laughs) How many lovers should a woman ideally have?

Jennifer: The problem is, especially with my experiences, being with a partner just because you've slept with them. I try to make things work if I sleep with a guy so the number doesn't just get greater and greater. I keep a count of lovers and definitely want to try and keep it low, but I think sex is really important, and until you have sex with someone, you don't know how compatible you are at other levels. As long as you practice safe sex, you communicate with each other, and you figure out things so no one's heart gets broken and you both know what you want to do with the situation, ya know, sex is a great thing. It should definitely be a part of your everyday life.

Savvy: But don't you think there are a lot of women out there who don't get the sex they want and feel like they have to fake an orgasm or repress saying what they really want out of concern that their men won't respect them anymore?

Jennifer: I think people should open their minds to anything. Sex should be an enjoyable thing. The more stuff you can do to each other, the more intimate you can get. I think some people just hold off because they are afraid. They're inhibited. It's all about communication. I just can't see doing all kinds of things together and not being able to tell your lover how to be in bed. If you can discuss marriage and kids or talk politics or religion, why wouldn't you be able to tell someone what to do to make you feel good? I mean, if you are rubbing my neck, you don't really get the kink out of it until I tell you what to do. But a woman first has to know her own body before she can tell a guy how to make her feel good.

Savvy: How can we all make sex a little more incredible?

Jennifer: The secret to good sex is don't be greedy. I'll go buy sexy lingerie or videos myself or role-play, bring out the whipped cream and strawberries, things like that.

Savvy: Do you, um... become aroused looking at these sexy photos and videos?

Jennifer: Yeah, I might masturbate but because of my situation with having a boyfriend, it is less frequent.

Savvy: Most women lie about masturbating, yet they keep a vibrator by the bed -- for neck spasms, of course.

Jennifer: It's a good stress-reliever. I think most women masturbate but they feel strange about it. Why? I mean, the safest sex you can have is with yourself. Women fake orgasms because they can't get to that level. Sex isn't feeling good and actually becomes boring. By faking it, they are trying to get it over with. That's no way to go through life because sex is a huge part of why we are here.

Savvy: You've opened my eyes. What is next for you?

Jennifer: I've done about as much as I can do with Playboy, and I've done well at it. My Web site, www.jenniferwalcott.com, does really well. It's a way to give my fans fresh new stuff, with candid shots from all the promotions I am doing and updates about what I'm doing. I would like to open up my own business, possibly finishing classes for special effect makeup and starting my own makeup line. I can only work for myself after I've worked for myself this long. It's going to be hard for me to live a normal life and have a normal job. I hate flying around and waking up in different places, but when I sit in L.A. alone for a week at a time, which is hardly ever, I start to go stir crazy. I don't even know if I am capable of a normal life. I just want some stability and to be in one place. I want to own my own property. I want to come out on top financially.

Savvy: You belong on top, Jen.
